Glock Pistol Date Of Manufacture By Serial Number
I like the XDS 45 and I like the G36 also both are great concealed carry firearms! Just not sure about the trade though. I know the XDS is in mint condition and not one problem with it since I purchased brand new. The G36 is great and clean too just not sure of the age though.

It's a Ford vs. Both will do what you want, as long as they fit your hand, and you practice with them. I just prefer Glocks. It's just a personal preference to know the manufacture date. I do agree if it looks good and the bore and all is good but, I still like to know the age of a firearm.
I do know the name Glock and what standards and quality they bring to the table. If it was manufactured in 1999 instead of 2009 that is a deal breaker for me even if it's in good condition unless the price is right. I will pay $650 for a newer Glock but will not pay the same for one that is 10 years old unless the asking price or trade amount is adjusted accordingly. I don't want to trade a $550 valued less than a year old firearm for one that is a lot older., just doesn't make sense to me to do that, Regardless of who the manufacture is.
